Dear Friend,
Love the Unloved was not born out of strategy or ambition—it was born out of burden.
Over the years, I have encountered countless women—often well-educated, accomplished, and full of promise—who found themselves abandoned, isolated, and overwhelmed in a country far from their families. These women were expatriates, many of them immigrants like me, who came to this land of opportunity with hope in their hearts.
But for some, that hope was crushed—through abuse, job loss, divorce, or family crisis. Many had no financial safety net, no one to turn to, and no extended family nearby to help them get back on their feet. Some were silenced by fear or shame. Others felt invisible. I saw women break under the weight of loneliness, desperation, and depression—often while trying to be strong for their children. And I couldn’t look away.
The Lord placed a heavy burden on my heart—a clear calling to create a safe place, a refuge where women like these could rest, heal, and rebuild their lives. But more importantly, a place where they could encounter the love of Jesus Christ, who sees them, loves them, and will never abandon them.
That calling became Love the Unloved.
This ministry is for the woman who feels unseen and forgotten. It’s for the mother who’s trying to protect her child while holding herself together. It’s for the broken-hearted, the displaced, and the voiceless. But above all, it is for the woman God is gently calling back into His arms.
If you are one of those women, you are not alone.
If you are someone who wants to help, we need you.
Together, let’s restore dignity, rebuild hope, and reflect the heart of Christ—one woman at a time.
With love and purpose,
Christina Henry
